Marignac never worked in this building, even though a centennial publication in 1978 celebrated Marignac without ever mentioning none of his research was ever done in the École de chimie. This building was located 100 meters south of his Rue Jean-Sénebier home -- it is now called the Bâtiment des Philosophes, Boulevard de Philosophes, and houses Departments of English and History of Art and Music.
